NORM at MJÖLK
First of all, thank you to everyone who came out to our opening party and talk last week. We had a really amazing turn out and it meant a lot to see the Toronto design community come out and celebrate with us. It was a pleasure to host Frederik Werner here, and to be able to use the exhibition as a way to showcase Norm Architects’ soft minimalist furnishings and objects.
There will be some pieces from the show that we will be folding into our collection moving forward. Naturally, we’ve been carrying Karimoku Case furniture for a few years now, so the furniture works will continue to be on display and enjoyed well after the exhibition closes.
We also fell in love with the Portugal-based “Origin Made”, whose concept is very similar to our own Mjölk Made collection, which pairs International designers with local craftspeople. Beyond the furniture, we received many comments about the Roman Travertine staircase sculptures and pendant lights. You can see information on those now on the Mjölk website.
