The table was only produced in 3 sets. (One has the design studio, another is at the Design Museum Denmark and the last appears to have been acquired by the Swedish royal house).The tables were then made of mahogany and rosewood veneer.
The table arose out of Mogens Koch's great passion for mathematics. Both tabletops each consist of two circular strokes – one inner and one outer, and when the tabletops engage each other, the shape arises with reference to the Yin Yang symbol. The updated model is made of solid oak
