Finn Juhl designed the Wilhelm Hansen Bed in 1961 as part of a bedroom interior dedicated to his partner, Hanne Wilhelm Hansen. The bedroom was one of the most personal and unconventional projects of Finn Juhl's career and marked a new direction in his design career. The colorful and graphic bed is crafted from cherry wood with details in wengé as well as an internal frame and slats in pine wood.
