Very useful for a gardener who struggles to walk on uneven ground and carry a basket to collect the veg at the same time. These “Royal” trugs dates back to 1851 when Thomas Smith attended the The Great Exhibition at Crystal Palace and he was lucky enough to have his stand visited by Queen Victoria, who ordered some trugs as gifts for members of the Royal Family. Shortly thereafter he was awarded the Royal warrant.

*please note some assembly required, also cracks in wood is a common occurrence*
