Gunnar Haimi founded his eponymous furniture company - Haimi Oy - in Finland in 1943, focussing on exceptionally well-upholstered furniture typical of the Finnish aesthetic established by Marta Blomstedt and others.
Oak or walnut feet mirror the Karu Chair’s own with a foam body sitting on top of a webbed, solid wood base frame to provide long-lasting comfort and support.
