Antique Korean Lapis blue glaze brush pot with nice display box.
A nice size for smaller brushes or pens and pencils.
Historically, a "korean lapis glaze" refers to the highly prized, deep cobalt and lazuli-blue glazes that originated during the Joseon Dynasty. Often seen on historical scholar’s desk items like water droppers and porcelain ware, this rich pigment is achieved using cobalt or mineral flux to recreate the intense blue of the lapis lazuli gemstone.
