Mjölk Sofa (Walnut)

Thom Fougere's sofa is a continuation of our exclusive line of furniture, which began with the daybed in 2020. Archetypal in form, it is a study in reducing the sofa to its essentials: a composition of planes on  which the upholstery appears to float.

Thom Fougere's sofa is a continuation of our exclusive line of furniture, which began with the daybed in 2020. Archetypal in form, it is a study in reducing the sofa to its essentials: a composition of planes on  which the upholstery appears to float. Its simplicity and bold clarity of construction emphasizes strong horizontal lines articulated with fine details. The seat and back are joined by two cylindrical posts which interface with the rectilinear planes in a thoughtful way. Generous cushions filled with duck feather appear to float on the wood frame.
