Object 32 comprises three objects by Michiko Iwata - one box, one bent wood rim, and one styrofoam shape.
Hand finished with antique found paper, acrylic, and ceramic glaze, these shapes can be piled, aligned, or stood on their end in any number of arrangements.
The found nature of the ingredients speak to the artist’s contemplation of the urban environment - both its decay and renewal.
Grouped by Michiko San to be augmented by the user, compositions can be shifted and reimagined on a rountine basis, or left as is.
Rim Ø17 cm, Box L9 x W7 x H4.5 cm
