Brown Oak Vessel

A wonderful natural form has been found when this vessel settled and dried after being made. It has an organic shape and displays the wonderful grain figuring found in this rare type of oak. The wood is almost completely brown with only a small section of natural colouring remaining on the underside. The brown colouring is caused by a fungus that effects the tree over time, slowly turning it into this sought-after rich colour.
