Antique Shaker Apple Peeler

The Shakers were known for their inventive nature. Their workshops and kitchens showcased many examples of their ability in creating tools that would save steps and labour, one of which being the apple peeler.
Wooden wheels, wrought iron turning mechanism with maple handle, leather belt, carved circular opening to hang on a peg rail at wide end, wrought iron turned screws at base.
